Jersey shocker. Trump more popular than Democratic Gov. Murphy in blue state, new poll says.

Here's another thing that may surprise you: Trump has better numbers than Jersey's Democratic governor, Phil Murphy, in a new poll released a few days after the Republican returned to the White House. Garden State voters have a split view of Trump, with 48% viewing him favorably and 46% seeing him negatively, according to the Emerson College/PIX 11/The Hill survey released Thursday. Murphy, meanwhile, is rated favorably by 44% of the state's voters, while 42% see him unfavorably, 12% are neutral, and 2% have not heard of the two-term governor as he enters his final year in office.
