Football Early Signing Day: OCVarsity covering today’s news, signings in Orange County

Many of Orange County's top high school football players will be making their college destinations official today, Dec. 4, the first day of football's early signing period. Players who are seniors (Class of 2025) can sign binding "grant in aid" papers or equivalent documents with a college institution, including the military academies. (The NCAA stopped using the National Letter of Intent system in October.) This is a three-day early signing period for football. The regular signing period for football begins Feb. 5.
